Dear Crown City Academy Community,
This newsletter covers changes to our exam schedule and Easter break. As you know these changes are to accommodate the public holidays due to the recent passing of President Joseph Magufuli. It is an emotional time in Tanzania as people simultaneously mourn his passing, and celebrate the first female president.
Below is the revised exam and end-of-term schedule for Years 1-4
Nursery class schedule remains the same. Afternoon class schedule of Art/ STREAM remain the same for all students.
Monday March 22- public holiday/ no school
Tuesday March 23- public holiday/ no school
Wednesday March 24- GYM/PHSE exam (8:45-10:00)
Thursday March 25- Social Studies exam (8:45-10:00); Handwriting/Reading (10:45-12:00).
Friday March 26- public holiday/ no school.
Monday March 29- Science exam (8:45-10:00); Language Arts (10:45-12:00)
Tuesday March 30- Maths exam (8:45-10:00); Kiswahili (10:45- 12:00)
Wednesday March 31 -No Exams, Resume normal school day
Thursday April 01- No Exams Resume normal school day
Easter Break modified schedule 02-07 April NO SCHOOL.
Karume Day- public holiday/ no school 07 April
REPORT CARDS EMAILED. PRINTED UPON REQUEST.
April 08 School resumes. Term 3 starts.
APRIL 08-09 PARENT, STUDENT, TEACHER CONFERENCE.
LUNCH MENU 22 March – 09 April
Monday- break: lemongrass tea, fruits, and pancakes; lunch chapati veggie wrap.
Tuesday- break: lemongrass tea, fruits and biscuits; lunch pilau and salad.
Wednesday- break: lemongrass tea, fruit mix; lunch beans and rice.
Thursday- break: lemongrass tea, fruits, pancakes; lunch chicken nuggets and vegetable wedges.
Friday- break: lemongrass tea, fruits and biscuits; lunch chapati chicken wrap.
