Hello CCA Community,
We really appreciate and love having your support and involvement. The science fair participation touched our hearts. It was great seeing parents there; watching students bravely and enthusiastically share details about their experiments. Our teachers did a fantastic job organizing and guiding students through the entire process.
Last week we had a tongue twister competition. Each class said a tongue twister. Additionally, each individual student said a tongue twister to see who had the fastest time. All students put up excellent times. Here are the top times in order.
Teo- 0.5 seconds (Ultimate Tongue Twister)
Tie: Niko, Safia, Layla- 1 second
Nayla- 1.98 seconds
Tie: Romuald, Meki, Diego- 2 seconds
Jasmine- 2.29 seconds

Congratulations to Meki, Amatullah, and Nayla. They were the CCA Good Neighbors this week.
We would like to welcome some new students to the Crown City Academy last week. Teachers and students have welcomed them and they are adjusting fast to our daily routine.
It is surprising how fast the term is moving. It is already two weeks since we had ‘Coffee with the Director.’ Again thank you to all parents and staff that participated. We look forward to other parents joining the lite conversation on Wednesday, December 2; from 8:00-8:30.
This coming week we have ‘Children’s Day on Friday, November 20th. Children’s Day promotes togetherness, uniqueness, and child rights annually. Since we have a diverse population, we would like to encourage students to wear garments that are either traditional or of cultural significance to their country of origin. During our Friday assembly, we will ask students to share some of the things they enjoy in their culture. Additionally, we will have lessons on child rights and safety during the course of the week in PHSE.
